Set up a Private Concealed Carry Class
Do you want to host your very own private concealed carry class?
Are you having a get-together, barbecue, birthday party, work party, reunion, or other group function?
We can travel to you and give you one of the best concealed carry classes you could ever get, in your home, business, or other location and have all of your family, friends, and/or co-workers take the class at the same time.
PRIVATE CONCEALED CARRY CLASSES
All private concealed carry classes must be scheduled at least two (2) weeks in advance to ensure all appropriate fees are paid, and any common issues are resolved prior to the class.
Class Includes
Oregon Residents: The Oregon CHL is open to Oregon residents and is a SHALL ISSUE license.
Oregon Non-Residents: The Oregon CHL is available to residents who live in bordering states; California, Idaho, Nevada and Washington and is a MAY ISSUE license which means it is at the discretion of the Sheriff in the county in which you apply. Your instructor will provide you with all the information needed to submit applications.
The Arizona and Utah permits are open to residents of any state. You do NOT have to reside in or visit the state of AZ or UT to apply for their permits and they can be applied for by mail. Pre-addressed envelopes and applications are included with the class.
In addition to the legal knowledge you will gain in this class, there are many benefits to getting your concealed carry permits and carrying a concealed firearm, they include but are not limited to:
Increased Personal Safety: Carrying a concealed firearm allows individuals to protect themselves and their loved ones in potentially dangerous situations.
Peace of Mind: Knowing that you can defend yourself and others as well as provide a sense of security and peace of mind.
Legal Protection: In the event of a self-defense situation, having a permit can provide legal protection by demonstrating that the use of force was justified.
Concealed Carry Reciprocity: WA, OR, AZ, and UT have Concealed Carry Reciprocity agreements with many states, which means that permit holders can carry in those states with the same legal protection.
MINIMUM NUMBER OF STUDENTS
We require a minimum of 10 students for all private classes. Smaller groups can be accommodated, but the cost of the class will still be based on 10 students attending. If you do not have the minimum number of students, the class cost discussed during your call from us, will increase for each student to meet the minimum required fee.
For private classes where our instructor needs to travel further than 1hr, a travel fee may be added to the class price.
HOST RESPONSIBILITIES
Obtaining a location where the class will be held. See the Location information below.
Ensuring that ALL students know and understand the class requirements:
Be at least 17 years old. Younger children can attend with paid adult attendance for educational purposes only, they will not be issued certificates.
Must arrive at least 10 to 15 minutes prior to the start time of the class.
The class could last around 4 hours. Times can vary depending on participant questions.
The class cost DOES NOT include permit application fee(s)
All students must arrive ready to learn and participate in a very interactive course….yes, we make this class educational AND entertaining.
PLEASE NOTE: Firearms and live ammunition are NOT permitted in the classroom training environment. Please plan accordingly.
LOCATION
Location Requirements:
The Host is responsible for paying all costs associated with the location, if applicable, and the instructor may contact the location to ensure all requirements can be met without any issues.
Enough space and seating for all students
Proper lighting
1. Access to a 46-inch (or larger) “smart” TV, space to put a laptop, access to one electrical outlet, and a WiFi connection.
or
2. Space to set up a table, projector, projector screen, access to one electrical outlet, and WiFi connection.SAFETY SPACE – There must be enough space [a minimum of eight (8) feet] in front of the class between the students and instructor to safely move about and teach.
RESCHEDULING / CANCELLATION
Host Cancellation:
If the Host cancels for any reason, at least 48 hours (2 days) prior to the scheduled class, it can be rescheduled for a future available date for no additional cost.
If the Host cancels for any reason, LESS than 48 hours (2 days) prior to the scheduled class, it can be rescheduled for a future available date which will require non-refundable deposit.
Instructor Cancellation:
If an instructor cancels a private concealed carry class and it cannot be reasonably scheduled for a future available date, the Host and all students will receive a full refund, including the non-refundable deposit.
Automatic Class Cancellation:
Unless other arrangements have been made between the Host and the instructor, the class will be canceled if all students have not paid for the class AND the Instructor has not received all payments at least four (4) days prior to the class.
